Senda litoral
The Coastal Path of the province of Malaga is a project led by the Provincial Council that received the collaboration of 14 coastal municipalities, the coastal associations, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment through Coasts and Maritime Environment. This project will enable the transit from Manilva to Nerja through the entire coast, covering about 180 kilometers.
The Coastal Path aims, among other objectives:
- Achieve transit along the coastline and improve existing but unconnected infrastructures
- Promote tourism on the Malaga coastline
- Achieve a significant economic and employment impact
- Value the coastal environment and the recovery of public spaces
- Value historical resources.
El "Caminito del Rey", ubicado en el Paraje Natural Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, se sitúa en el centro de la provincia de Málaga, a menos de 60 km de la capital, delimitado al norte por la Serranía de Ronda y los Llanos de Antequera y al sur por el valle del Guadalhorce y de la comarca histórica de Campo de Cámara.
