Visits with tasting at the Gaitanejo brewery

Cervezas Gaitanejo nace en el pueblo malagueño de Ardales. In 2014 they launched their first beer on the market: Caminito del Rey. In 2017 they opened their new brewery, which you can visit as part of the experience.

In this activity you will be able to visit both the Caminito del Rey and our brewery Gaitanejo, located at the entrance of Ardales, C/ Puente de la Molina 3 (https://maps.google.com/?q=36.88568027097643,-4.845730174549561), 6 km from the visitor centre of the Caminito del Rey. The time of your visit to the Caminito del Rey is at 09:40, so at 08:30 you should be at the Caminito del Rey visitor reception centre car park (included in the price of this package). From there you can take the shuttle bus (2,50EUR). At the exit of the visit, with the same ticket, you can take the shuttle bus again to go back to the car park and from there to our factory where the visiting time is at 13:00.

Upon arrival and after checking your ticket, we will learn about the raw materials used to make this millenary beverage and how it is made, we will become familiar with the malts and hops and we will find out where the diverse profiles of this beverage come from.

Once we know how the beer is brewed, we will go on to a tasting of 4 of the products that are brewed here, all accompanied by locally produced products, goat's cheese, Aloreña olives, potatoes and local cured meats.
